I stayed here and booked multiple rooms for our family. It was personally my choice because the location is right in the heart of Davao, and it’s more affordable compared to other nearby hotels that couldn’t meet our requirements. The beds were big and comfortable, there’s a gym, and the pool area was peaceful and not crowded perfect for relaxing. Our bookings came with buffet breakfast, which was also very good. But what truly stood out was the staff especially the security personnel, who were very helpful and attentive, particularly since we had senior citizens in wheelchairs with us. Overall, it was a pleasant and comfortable stay, and I would definitely recommend it for families. Definitely staying once again in Royal Mandaya when I am back in Davao

Staff are very accommodating regardless (we are in casual attire only) of what we are wearing. We were not judged and served us well. I will give more than 5stars! We dined there unexpectedly just walking through the area looking for place to have breakfast. We love the wide selection of food and their breakfast buffet is way better than the known hotel in the area. Highly recommended for great food and walk-in buffet!

Feeling nostalgic! I remember this hotel during my college days (80's) as grand and luxurious as it was, still exudes the charms it has. Despite that it's past its prime, the foundation holds, stood strong and remains grandious. The staffs are accommodating and made sure visitors are comfortable. The breakfast is superb, foods are delectable. Kudos to the team lead by manager Sly Maranga for all the efforts to have each guests feel comfy and relaxed. They are still on the road to recovery after its closure during the pandemic. Worth the price. Will consider this as our 2nd home while in Davao City...

Checking in at the Royal Mandaya hotel was convenient from the moment we arrived until we were accompanied by Dennis (bellman) to our family room on the 8th floor level. The front desk officers, sir Julius and Ms. Leah, welcomed us and arranged everything for a smooth and speedy check -in process . Their warm smiles made us feel welcomed and cared for. We had a really great time as we were checked in a family room on the 8th floor level for an overnight stay. The pool was newly renovated too as my daughters were excited to swim. We went directly to the hotel's swimming pool area on the 3rd floor level for a whole afternoon of fun and relaxation. The swimming pool area has sufficient light and is well-maintained. They have a mini-bar where you can order some food or drinks. We had an early morning breakfast the next day to make our morning complete at their Kamayo Cafe. I had my toasted bread with butter on top and fried bacon. Good thing there were veggies and fish too. And for some desserts, we had pineapple and watermelon. It was an enjoyable and non- stop conversation over breakfast with my daughters.

I was delighted by the tasteful decor and attention to detail. The room was impeccably clean and well-maintained, providing a cozy and comfortable environment. The bed was plush and inviting, guaranteeing a restful night's sleep after a long day of sightseeing. One aspect that stood out during my stay was the exceptional customer service. The hotel staff went above and beyond to ensure my needs were met promptly and efficiently. They were friendly, approachable, and knowledgeable, offering excellent recommendations for local attractions and dining options. I truly felt valued as a guest throughout my entire stay.
